Contributing to a sustainable future
Named after the largest tropical tree that rises above the canopy and connects all things, Fundacion Mente contributes to the sustainable development of Ecuador since 2009 as an NGO working hand-in-hand with community partners in the Amazon Rainforest, Andes, and coastal province of Manabi.
We are an organization committed to environmental protection and cultural preservation.
Our areas of action
Our projects aim to ensure equilibrium between human well-being and natural conservation, and include some of the following:
●community enterprises, productive alternatives, and “green” initiatives;
●unique and authentic travel experiences as a way of meeting our local partners and learning firsthand about their realities;
●community conservation actions in key biodiversity areas;
●implementing social programs aimed to address community needs and promoting participation of youth and women.
